Where do I begin! This place is absolutely the worst place I ever visited. My sister and I were gonna stay here for one night. It was so bad we had to leave. The first room smelled like mildew, the carpet is dirty, the chairs are dirty. The next room same filthiness. The room has an air purifier to take away the mildew smell. They got the nerve to charge people $318.00 a night on weekend rate for this dump. A few people were throwing up in the lobby area. People outside with robes and PJS. I think it’s being used for a homeless shelter as well. Also there is absolutely no parking in the garbage across the street from the hotel that cost $20.00. Run, Run from this place please. the overall feeling the hotel conveys is that it is pretty rundown and in need of a renovation. There is a strong smell in the rooms and hallways, probably stemming from all that smoking that probably was allowed on property at some point. Curtains stink of it. We had an air purifier in the room (it was categorized as "pure" room when booking), and it could not make it "pure" despite running all the time we were there. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper, and overall seems not too clean. We had mismatched shampoo/conditioner bottles, and not much beyond that. The cafe was fine - breakfast buffet was probably the best feature of the hotel. The variety was not that great, but the service was good. In general, I expected more from a Sheraton, but I guess that's AC for you.

I appreciated that the rooms at the Sheraton are spacious and equipped with basic amenities. There's paid parking across the street for $20 or valet for $30, which is reasonable compared to nearby properties. The location is perfect if you're attending an event at the Atlantic City Convention Center.However, my main complaints lie in the lack of maintenance and attention to detail on the property. Our bathroom had small areas of peeling wallpaper, a water-stained ceiling in the shower, and a toilet that didn’t flush properly. While the bedding seemed clean, the floor around the bed had stains likely caused by shoes or luggage rubbing against it. The furniture is dated, and the rooms were quite humid due to the low-power AC. Breakfast was a bit overpriced, although it’s all you can eat, with a pretty basic selection.While they do allow pets, there are no dedicated pet areas, which led to an unfortunate incident where a dog peed right in front of the entrance. Although I mainly blame the owner, it was disappointing that the valet and concierge tolerated it.Overall, it wasn’t bad for a night, and with some basic upgrades and more attentive staff, this place could really shine.
