Rooms were nice. I would have liked more linen put in the room as far as towels and wash clothes. I had to request wash clothes because they only had 2 when we arrived. Furniture in downstairs bar and seating area were worn, so it that made it look less upscale of a hotel. I requested something special in my room since it was my birthday and staff agreed but there was nothing. Lol Overall, nice weekend.

I was not pleased with our stay at all. We normally choose the Omni but thought we would give this hotel a try. Very disappointed. We were moved 3 times because our room was unacceptable. Our dining experience at the hotel was not good as the food was poor quality, cold and not prepared correctly. We were told it was because of staffing issues. Still this is unacceptable for such an establishment. We will not be returning.

Valentines in Midtown

The space was gorgeous and very comfortable. The standard room had both a tub and a separate shower. They did not have any complimentary water in the room, they charged us $7 for an 8 ounce bottle. The service issue I had was as follows… The gentleman that checked us in told us that breakfast and coffee was included with our stay. When we went for breakfast in the morning the waiter gave us a menu with prices. I inquired about the free breakfast and the waiter asked if I paid with an American Express, which I did. He said that the bill will be comped at check out. Long story short, they said that we don’t get the breakfast because we reserved through a third party (Hotels.com). I argued that I would not have chosen to eat a hotel buffet for $28 person if I wasn’t given incorrect information. They were not interested in admitting their mistake.

Great experience. The valet staff are all super friendly, and helpful. Super helpful getting to the room with all of our luggage and making sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this hotel.

An Amazing stay and weekend
