The check in process was smooth. There was a $100 deposit. The hotel also charges $30 per night for vehicles. When we first walked into the room there was a strange smell in the room, it smelled like someone took their lunch break in the room before our check-in. There was also a used towel in the sink and the bar soap the hotel provides was open on the counter of the sink. The television didn’t work. We asked the first morning of our stay to have someone look into it. However, when we return the television still wasn’t fixed. So we went back to the front desk and the technician did come up quickly. Technician told us the cable box was out and they didn’t have any extra on the property. The front desk did call to say we could switch rooms but at this point we only had one more night and didn’t think it was worth packing up all our stuff to move to another room. I would just recommend checking to make sure everything works before unpacking, settling, and etc.

Worst hotel experience I have had in a while. Awful communication and understaffed. My brother and I met up at the hotel with his son and he couldn’t check into his room because the front staff was so out of order. His son ended up sleeping on the tiny couch in my room. There were dirty coffee pods in the room and no fresh coffee. The body wash was out. The staff charged my credit card when I told them it was for incidentals only and then they acted like it was my fault vs apologizing and making it right. Manager and staff of this hotel need full replacement if I’m being honest and I rarely give a bad review on anything.

They would not let me check-in when I arrived at 2 pm, but they assured me my room would be ready in the evening when I returned from the CFP game. When I arrived after the game at midnight, no room. Disappointing. Will NEVER stay at a Kimpton again.

I loved the doggie fountain by the elevators. The fact that this hotel was so accommodating for dog owners is what I liked the most. However, the bar seemed to be lacking in the service side. Could maybe use more service people that can actually make a drink. The single bartender seemed overwhelmed

Nice establishment, but Horrible staff

The hotel itself is nice, however, I was lied to upon checking-in. I paid upfront for a King conference suite. The front desk associate informed me that they were completely booked. He said they had an upgrade that he would be willing to give for no additional charge. In actuality he gave us a downgrade (king studio) and still charged me the same amount. That was the first issue, second one was, I called down a day in advance and asked if it would be possible to receive a late check-out. The front desk associate informed me the latest they could do would be 1:30. I said that was perfect. Next day rolls around and I attempt to use my key card at 11:30am and it’s not working. I asked the front desk if they could reactivate it as I wanted to hit the gym. The gentleman that lied to me said they are unable to accommodate a late check-out and if I wanted to use the gym I would have to check-out and then he would allow me to use the gym. Meanwhile the lady that I spoke with is standing right there and I informed him that I spoked with her yesterday to confirm. Not an apology, not a well let me speak with her to see first. Just out right rude. Lastly, I had to deal with dogs barking from midnight to about 3am every night I was there. I understand it’s pet friendly but there should be a size limit. Overall the customer service or lack there of is what makes this place and stay horrible. I plan to see this issue through until I’m able to speak with someone in corporate.

Poorly run and managed. We stayed for two nights. Check-in was a nightmare— the first room we were given hadn’t been serviced. Our room was never serviced and the hotel ran out of clean towels. We were unable to get a shuttle ride to the airport (we were told they couldn’t drive us), and nearly missed our flight. Comfortable room, but wouldn’t return.

My stay at Kimpton was amazing. The only issue I had with the hotel was other people complaining about my dogs at a “pet friendly” hotel. The advertisement of it being pet friendly and not overcharging me to allow my dogs to stay is why I stayed at kimpton in the first place. TLDR if you don’t want to listen to a dog barking for all of 5 seconds then stay at a hotel that doesn’t allow them.
