As soon as we walked into the lobby, there was a strong smell, almost like stale smoke, which was very off-putting. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to assist us with check-in, which was frustrating. The room itself had an unpleasant odor, was far too small, and felt poorly maintained. To top it off, the breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had at any Holiday Inn. Definitely not the experience I expected.

I stayed here for two nights after having surgery at the hospital nearby. I liked that it was quiet since I was staying in the room recovering. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating, and the complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, muffins etc, was a nice bonus. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Not the best stay not the worst stay
The hotel is in serious need of updating and maintenance. There was also a bed bug carcas found on the bed as we were about to sleep late in the evening after we pulled all the covers down. It was dead and there were no others found anywhere after thorough investigation of the room. So we beleive it may have came in the laundry. But somewhere in this hotel there is an issue.

While the room was small and a bit dated, all the staff at the hotel was pleasant and professional. The room and hallway smelled heavily of pot. This seems to be common and not the hotel's fault - but still made the stay less enjoyable.

Buckhead disappointment
Rooms were not made up even after I complained. I was told I refused housekeeping which I did not. After day 1 I made sure to remind them to clean my room. Again they did nothing. The toilet seat was broken and I had to kill several bugs. The chair in the room was old and worn out. The free breakfast was good. They did discount the room after I complained at checkout.
