The AC must not work through the entire hotel. Checked in, it was hot. Go in the room and it was as if the ac didn’t work all night either. Very uncomfortable sleep because of that. Also the faucet handle on the sink was loose and you had to hold it still to turn the faucet on. May need to send maintenance in there to make adjusts as needed. Also, weird that all the trash cans didn’t have bags ready to go. You had to put trash bags inside the trash cans. Wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it!

Tried to turn the heater up, wasn't working so i took a closer look at thermostat. It had batteries but no wires to it at all. Looked all over the place nothing to work unit under window. It was a BS thermostat on the wall. Called front desk, they offered a portable heater at first until i got on his case about issue, then offered me another room, but i only needed some sleep & didn't want to dirty another room so delt with portable heater. When leaving gate code wasn't working to exit parking lot, they told me to exit throw entrance that has no gate.

Excellent breakfast buffet.

Primary elevator not functional. Arrived on a chilly day and initial room provided had a disfuntional heating unit. Provided with a 2nd room which was an improvement. Beds were comfortable and breakfast buffet was amongst the best we have experienced.

Convenient.

It is confusing as there are two Holiday Express hotels in College park. We went to the wrong one as I did not realize this and just put in College park. I was surprised they charged $15 for parking as I have only paid for parking in downtown hotels. The parking lot was empty. Also, there is a gate to get out and they did not give us the code when we checked out so we had to go back in when leaving to get it.

Good value and hotel

The hotel appears recently renovated. It is clean, and the stuff were friendly. The continental breakfast is really good! The only negative thing, which of course is completely personal preference, is that the bed mattresses are very plush. So, sleep was not great for me. Other than that this hotel is great.
