Stayed for a week at The Athens Version Luxury Suites in a Superior room with a view of the Temple of Hephaestus and very happy that we chose this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located near Monastiraki Square and is a short 5 minute walk to the Monastiraki Metro station. There is a rooftop patio with an excellent view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed having drinks in the evening relaxing and looking out over the city. The location was perfect. Within a 3-minute walk there are probably 20 restaurants, and dozens more within a 15 minute walk. We were also able to walk to the Parthenon, the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, and Plaka. The room was clean and had a nice selection of coffees and teas. It included a kitchen sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The air conditioner kept us cool in the 90F degree heat. Olga, who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, is a true angel. She arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. On the day we were supposed to check out my wife got sick and Olga arranged for a doctor to come to our room. If you are looking for a place that is centrally located, clean, with great views, and excellent service, I highly recommend Athens Version Luxury Suites!

Excellent location. Close to the metro station, shopping, restaurants, cafes, and historical sites. The view from the roof terrace was amazing. The room was clean with enough space and good aircon.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooftop had a beautiful view of the city and the acropolis. The hotel manager was very helpful arranging taxis to and from the airport. The room was exactly as described/ pictured.

Friendly and well appointed

A great place to stay close to the city centre without being in it. Good for the metro. Great views from the roof top terrace. On the edge of the flea market so ideal if you like browsing and antiques. The small kitchen area allows you to have your own breakfast goods. A kettle and coffee pod machine were great. We stayed 1 night before boarding a cruise and the owners let us leave cases while we explored Athens. Great, friendly communications from them

Small narrow hotel with mini 2 person or person/luggage elevator. Rooms are large with 2 or 3 per floor. Had help with luggage taken up to room upon arrival (several trips) but had to haul our own down at checkout. Very convienient location. Walking to shopping and restaurants. Needed to flip breaker every time for hot water and wait or take a cold shower. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Maid serviced every day.

First and foremost, Julius (the owner) was so incredibly helpful and friendly!!! Our bags were delayed 24hrs and helped guide us to pharmacies/etc, AND waited for our bags our first full day in Athens, so we could sightsee. He was also incredible at setting up car service from the airport. His property is a 5 floor boutique hotel IN EUROPE. Pls do not judge the property based on US standards (and sound like a typical American). Again, this is Europe, where elevators can be much smaller, rooms and bathrooms much smaller, and things are just different. We have been around thw world and LOVED 95% about this place! Owner, cleanliness, LOCATION WAS SPECTACLE (food, sights, shopping & strolling), etc... All A++. Plaka is the old town where almost everyone should stay! We stayed on the 4th floor in 402, which had 3 beds for the 4 of us. 2 were pullouts, but once again, don't judge! --- it was perfedt for what we needed! There was a terrific shower + refrigerator and microwave. I STRONGLY suggest Juilus' hotel over a typical airbnb, where u have no interface with anyone (in case there are problems OR you just need good advice). The big hotels are not in Plaka so u will spend time and money getting there. Plus they are more expensive in most cases. BTW- The 5% is just because nothing is 100% perfect (when on a family budget), but this place is ad close as one could hope for when traveling oversees!

All is great and impressive they replace every day the towel and clean up kitchen. Towel normally in regular hotel is not replaced everyday. On the 3rd day they replace also the blanket of bed that is impressive. The dress cabinet needs to be replaced as it is already with tear and wear condition.

I had two rooms booked both were supposed to have a view of the Acropolis. The only way to see it is if you leaned out the windowfar enough. The mattress was so hard, felt like we were sleeping on a pull out couch. The wardrobe in our room301, was literally falling apart. The towels were thin and old. The best part were the restaurant across the street and the little breakfast place next door.

If you want to stay in Athens definitely this place we rented Suite very spacious with sofa. I also happen to see other rooms and also spacious. The lobby is small but I don't mind at all. I rather get the space in the rooms. I stay at several hotel in athens all rooms were bery small.Location amazing for walking to shopping and walking to restaurants and night life.
