The room (king spa suite) was on par with much more expensive hotels that I have stayed in. Cleanliness was excellent. The only thing I wished that was included was instructions on how to use the coffee machine, and I also definitely missed having late night room service. Parking directly outside our room was great, and the quality of the room far exceeded expectations. Reception was also so friendly and welcoming

Our group chose to stay in Ashburton prior to flying out of Christchurch the next day. Taylors Motel was a great choice. Spacious and clean rooms (we had the 2-bedroom) and lounge area. Kitchen (fridge and stove) was small, however had everything we needed. Quiet location and short walk to shops, cafes. Friendly owners and easy check-in/out.

This motel was very well maintained and thoughtfully organized and laid out. Nicely furnished. The owner is delightful and very helpful. On a primary road but not the highway, so it was quiet. Would love to stay again.
