One of the best, if not the best hotel on my 3 week trip to hokkaido. Large room, big balcony, friendly and kind staff, quiet, great walking area, very close to train station, excellent breakfast, would stay again for sure

It's a two-story hotel in the center of BA. I used it comfortably because there was a Korean employee. The parking lot was too spacious and the breakfast was just right for the price. There is a convenience store nearby that takes 5 minutes. The BA station takes 2 minutes. There is a big supermarket that takes about 10 minutes on foot.
The hotel was very convenient. If you arrive early the hotel will hold your luggage. The room was very spacious compared to Japanese standards. The room was clean. The Japanese breakfast had many items to choose from. If you’re not going around in a car this hotel is great and before the hotel from the station, the tourist information office is there. The Biei tourist office runs a tour bus around Biei twice a day. Also get your train and bus schedules. The trains comes every 2 hours after the summer season, so you have to time yourself wisely.
The choices for the breakfast were very limited. There was no fruit and even cereal. Also, the standard of the food was below average. However, the room was very spacious and I particularly liked the bathtub.
The hotel is very simple but comfortable and clean. Very conveniently located for skiing different areas of central Hokkaido. Breakfast selection was ok, somewhat limited. And the lady working as a waitress was very grumpy.

Honestly, this property is very outdated, and if there was another hotel in town or airbnb, I would've easily booked those instead. We paid around $140 USD for one night, and I did not think it was worth it. Everything was very old and looked like it needed a major upgrade.
Well in and well located, our experience at this otherwise good value for money hotel was marred by a disappointing and rather bizarre breakfast experience each day. Food choices were poor/almost non existent for those with western breakfast tastes, quantities were minimal requiring one to constantly badger staff for refills of basic items such as yoghurt, water etc and every move we made was closely monitored by beady eyed kitchen staff who ticked us off if we broke unwritten rules eg taking a sip of coffee while waiting for the machine to make a second cup for my husband, or taking butter from near the potatoes for my bread roll instead of margarine from near the bread. All very odd.

I had a pleasant 2-night stay here in a standard twin room which was spacious and tidy. The only problem I had was the smell of smoke. I booked a non-smoking room and the first night was fine but unfortunately the second night I could smell smoke was wasn't so pleasant. I'm not sure if it wafted into our room via the aircon or how.
Breakfast was included and there was a selection of japanese and western options. It was yummy - it had a comfort, home-cooked feel to it. Location of the hotel was nice a close to the station - only a few minutes walk. There's also a big supermarket within walking distance. Staff at the hotel were nice. The hotel has a gift shop attached but it does not have any onsen facility.
Overall I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again.
Hotel is next to the Tourist Information Centre which provides day tours for tourists who don't drive / cycle.
Breakfast is provided but the variety depends on the number of guests that are staying in the hotel.
It is a convenient and quiet place to stay.
Stayed during the start of May.
Very clean and relatively big room by Japanese standard. We had a connecting room and it’s great for friends and families just having a small problem to close the connecting door and need the staff help and upon our call they came up immediately. Breakfast is simple and nice!

It has the feel of a communal dorm more than a hotel. Restaurant close early. But it’s clean and good with friendly staff, so if you are not fussy, a convenient stop after a visit to the blue pond.
The hotel is just next to a community centre, bi.yell, where you get to play the board games. The surrounding is quiet and it has been a very pleasant experience.
