Right by the Loch

Has everything that you might need for a night stay. Right by the Loch with very nice views. Little dated, but thats its charm in itself! Very friendly staff. Recommend

Great staff and location, hotel is very shabby chic but makes up in location, price and friendly staff. Saturday night singer was excellent.

Hotel is tired, flaky paint in room, poor shower, dated bathroom. Contacted hotel 2 weeks before and was told did not need to book restaurant as loads of room only to find on check in could only eat at 6pm or 8.39 as coach loads in restaurant between those times. Breakfast at 9 am poor, food looked like it was what was left from when put out at 7.30. Disappointed stay. However view great and good live music. Barman excellent.

A place to rest your head

Reasonable budget stay for a weekend. Nothing special, but when you just need a bed and a shower it's fine. Not the quietest place though, as the floorboards are very creaky and when there is live music in the bar it echoes and vibrates through the old building (finished at 10 though so not too late.)
