Great place to stay

This hotel was a great place to stay. Room was good size, great bed, very clean bathroom and shower.Front desk people were friendly and very helpful. Parking in the hotel,garage was $42/day, but street parking was plentiful at $12 per day and free on the weekends. Breakfast bar was also very good.

In our room there were bugs dead and alive. When we killed six bugs and showed them to the gentleman at the front desk. He looked at me and my one year old at 8:40pm and said do you want to check out. No sir it in the night before the inauguration where am I going to go ? I just want a room with no bugs. He was so rude. Wasn’t even like sorry for the bugs really at all. Our new room had a dresser that was all banged up and drawer was off hinges (as a business and the amount of money you bring in you should have the funds to fix this ). We heard the persons next to us very loud in the middle of the night was woken up multiple times at 2 am by people yelling. The new room pillows also smelled like straight up weed. Ok if you are just two adults but I would NEVER bring a child to this property.

Clean and Affordable, But a Bit Shabby

This property was convenient to Reagan National Airport and the monuments. It was easy to get an Uber. The Japanese restaurant was very good and appear to be popular with locals. The appearance of the property was a bit shabby. A little work could spruce it up nicely.

Hotel is really in bad conditions… rooms smell heavy smoke and heating was not working; the breakfast was terrible, they had cockroaches inside the Cereal & the Bread was spoiled & expired. We approached the Manager who justify himself saying “all hotels have cockroaches” this place unfortunately in very bad conditions.

Location of electrical outlets made it impossible for me to use my CPAP equipment without difficulty, stretching the electric cord across the room to the outlet behind the TV. There needs to be outlets near nightstands

It’s a good location for military member and family. It’s an old property and cleanliness was an issue. The housekeepers evaded our place even we have not checked out . I went out for a job interview at 8:30 am and came back at 10:30 am. Trey were in our room despite we have not check out and personal belongings were still around then.

The property is well located within Washington DC limits and in safe area. I liked the ambience and view from the hotel. The room was spacious and well setup with facilities. The staff were also good. However, the room had bad odors and there were many tiny roaches on my bed and in the room. The rooms certainly need thorough pest control enforced on a weekly basis.
