First, perfect. Now, I will share my experience at the La Casa Del Irma hotel.
We arrived earlyier than check in time. A nice guy, Reynaldo, welcome us with a big smile and gave us the room, a lovely nice and clean (very clean) one.
It seems that huge attention pays to every corner to make it nice and welcoming.
Location is great and the night is quiet.
It's not a question of whether we will come back - we booked an extra night a few days ahead.
Lovely family run hotel. The owner made contact in advance and offered to book a taxi to pick us up from the airport which was great and gave us plenty of ideas for places to eat and drink
Our hosts were incredibly helpful and welcomed us early in the morning when our bus arrived. They gave us a cup of tea on arrival (which we haven’t had before).
Our room was clean and quiet and shower had great hot water. Enjoyed the boiled eggs as a change from normal Peru breakfast.
They also stored our bags while we went trekking. Very nice stay.
Great place, the only issue is the many dogs living in and around the hotel, they bark a lot at night because of the 3am daily pickups for Colca Canyon. Other than that, fantastic!
It is a family-run hotel, with cozy-feeling, conveniently located. We, generally, like the place but the room's sound-proof was minimal. We could hear a hair-dryer or a louder conversation in a room next to our. So, if you book the place, have ear-plugs ready. Breakfasts were tasty, freshly-made.
Thanks to Vivian and the entire staff for the incredible stay at the hotel. Very accessible and accommodating staff. Would not hesitate to stay again on my return.
The room was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed.
The reception guy was very friendly, but it was unpleasant to see the lady boss being sensitive and scolding her employees loudly.
Very quant building, nicely renovated inside. Location is excellent to access Arequipa historical area. Nice little street to climb up and down, English speaking staff, very safe area even at night time. Near many food stalls in the evening.
We stayed here for 3 nights and it was such a lovely little place in a perfect location close enough to the main bit of the historic quarter but far enough away that it wasn’t too noisy. The service was excellent & they even did our washing for a very reasonable price!
We've been travelling for nine months and this is by far the most friendly and hospitable hotel we have stayed in. It will definitely be one of our highlights of Peru. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the hot water showers were fantastic. The gentlemen who works there was so nice and helpful and we felt he really went above and beyond for us. We were in a safe area but he walked us to our taxi on the last night. We had no problems storing our bags while we did the Colca Canyon. The area was off the main street but within walking distance of the main plaza. We wish we could have this quality of accommodation everywhere we went. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
The property is on a small beautiful historic alleyway. At night I alley is unpopulated. I’m not sure I’d walk on the alley myself at night.
Rooms are fine. There is nobody at the front desk usually. If you are leaving early on a tour you will miss the breakfasts
