Gorgeous!!

We LOVED the staff, the pool and bar areas, and the stunning view. The staff made excellent recommendations and were so attentive during a storm re: informing us about the conditions of the roads, providing safety info, etc. We 1,000% would stay again.

The Mansion Inn was an oasis of peace and quiet with beautiful views. We stayed in Queens Cottage and it was perfect for our grown up family. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and friendly.

The views look in person just as they do on the website. The pool and hot tub were clean. The villas are individual cabins, which are roomy but not too much. Breakfast included for free & there is a restaurant/bar open the entire day. It’s a 40 minute drive from La Fortuna but we did not mind the commute. In exchange you get really nice and quiet surroundings. Would recommend for family getaways!

This property is about 45mins away from the busy resort area. The individual guest houses, provide views of the lake. The meals at La Mansion Inn are good and the variety is sufficient enough render driving to another place excessive. Pair all of that with friendly staff and you’ll have the option of adventure or simply relaxing.

A lovely hotel with an astounding view of Lake Arenal and friendly, helpful staff. Just be aware that unless you have your own car, you will pay extra for transportation to and from La Fortuna. We were told that cab fare from La Fortuna is $60 each way.

The hotel was in great place, had a good view of lake from our room. We have enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice and breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits every day.

The property is in a beautiful location, but has limited services nearby. Be prepared to drive 45 minutes for a glimpse of the volcano and for guided tours of various kinds. Especially during the wet season, the clouds rarely lift around the mountain. Bring a rain jacket. You are in a tropical rain forest.

Beautiful views from every angle made our stay special The location is away from the business of the city and is an escape Staff were fantastic and breakfast each morning was great! We had a car rental which was helpful as the hotel is away from la Fortuna but other guests arranged transport via excursions which picked them up from hotel

Cute place

This is an eclectic place near the lake in a very small town. The people who ran it were fantastic and the food was delicious and plentiful. They upgraded us for free. We were there during a storm and there were few other places to go to eat so we did feel like we were out in the middle of nowhere. Which might have been more fun if we’ve been able to do some hiking and driving that was impossible due to the rain.

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. Our cabin was beautiful and cozy. We loved the paintings on the walls and cozy jungle vibes. The view was amazing. The food at the restaurant was so good as well and they were very accommodating to my garlic allergy. The staff were all very friendly. The outdoor pool and hot tub were beautiful as well. The view again amazing. We wish we’d stayed here longer.

Beautiful place with an outstanding view across the lake and a very nice pool area. We enjoyed the birds attracted to the flowers planted everywhere. The unit was spacious and very pleasant with a sitting area outside. The only downside was that we did not enjoy the hotel's lunch and dinner service but the cook may change and there are close-by alternatives.
