Breakfast late, no laundry service, main gate closed after midnight. If you need to go out, you must phone someone to help you. Response is not fast as you need it.
The staff were so lovely and friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel is so relaxing. I sleep well in my room and the bed was so comfortable. Thank you for an awesome stay. When I’m back in town I’ll be back. Definitely a high recommendation.
At first this hotel was starting to look like we did a great job of booking it. Everything was ok until 500usd went missing.
My cousin left her purse with the cash that she wasn’t using. Her room didn’t have any safe. She left her purse under her pillow from the first day we got there thinking it would be secure. The first day we headed out, the hotel ask if we wanted house keeping. I said yes because that’s what I always do when I go on vacation. She mentioned that her money was left in her purse and she was a bit worried. Anyways we got back in after a long day she checked the purse and her money was there. So now she felt a little bit better leaving her stuff. Big mistake! This time she put her purse in her belongings.
Sunday for some reason she check and all the money was gone. We looked everywhere, still no money. She never left the room with that purse mainly because she had Guatemalan currency with her when we were going out.
We told the hotel manager immediately, the morning we were leaving she came and look through the room as if that would have helped anyways still no money. The hotel manager offered NO form of compensation at all! They did absolutely nothing to assist us we know people lie about stuff like this so it’s really our word against house keeping. But come on, they could have taken off a night or two, or even offer us a complimentary stay if we ever came back. They could have done something! She just left and didn’t care about her guest experience.
I reserve a room for two, one person checked in without problems the second person arrived and the hotel was closed, they locked in everything and the first person was not able to go out, we have to pay another hotel for the second person
