This resort had it all. Walking trails, tram to a snow covered mountain (late May), hiking trails, amazing restaurants. The area is stunning. Its located in Girdwood which is convenient to many places but also has plenty to see in the area. Will definitely stay again but longer next time! Stunning!

Very nice hotel. High quality bedding, shower great, room quiet. Too cold and rainy and windy to do much outdoors. Really loved the towel warmers in the bathroom.

Photos don’t do the room justice! Junior Suite was amazing with an amazing view. It’s much larger than it looks! There is a mini fridge. Sofa bed the old fashioned kind, so not super comfy, but beds, pillows, linens, excellent! Nice pool/gym/sauna/hot tub! Loads of trails! Restaurants were great and not too pricey considering they were in the resort. Cute town! Loads of shops/restaurants close by!

We arrived just after ski season ended, but most of the trails were accessible for hiking. The property is wonderful; it truly is a "resort". We highly recommend the Nordic Spa (additional charge) but there is a large indoor pool as well that is free to guests. The onsite restaurante Forte is excellent, albeit a bit pricy. Ride the tram to the top of the mountain for incredible views and a drink or bite to eat. This place is so much fun! There is also a micro brewery just down the road if you want a change of scenery.

Well the girl at the front was only supposed to charge my card for incidentals but ended up charging for the whole room , she told me Sakura sushi was open but when i went up to eat , it is closed until next week . And the room had no remote in the room for the tv ....

Cons: The room I got did not match what was shown on Expedia. It had clearly not been updated since the 90s. Two restaurants were not open, and the pool was filthy. Hot tub jets did not work. Pros: It was quiet and the property was beautiful. The people who work there are fun and very helpful. Shoutout to the Abar staff, really great. Overall I would say the property is in dire need of renovation, but it was nice. I don’t think I would stay again at the price they are charging.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Alyeska Resort. We were there in between ski and tourist seasons. The staff were excellent and knowledge about the area. We enjoyed talking with them and learning little tidbits of history about Alaska. The location was quiet and well kept. It’s about an hour drive from Anchorage and to us that gave us an opportunity to see beautiful landscapes along the ride. Also, it was about midway for the other cities and attractions we were able to visit. Our visit was not long enough but very enjoyable while it lasted.
