Really enjoyed our short stay at the hotel. Max was great in advance with providing regular updates on late check-in arrangements which made us feel a lot better. Arrival and check-out all went smoothly and the room and shared shower facilities were great. Highly recommendable!

Clean, honest, budget accommodation
The Ingra House delivers clean, basic accommodations at a reasonable price. The management clearly communicated with me regarding our late arrival. I knew exactly what to expect, and what I expected was delivered. The hotel has shared bathrooms which were very clean. The rooms are small, but the price is reasonable.

The front desk was staffed with friendly people. They explained procedures for kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean. A little road noise, but guests were all polite and tidy.

Mark was a great staff guy. The property itself is very old and worn but very, very clean. Would not stay here again only because the bathrooms were down the hall. But again they were spotless

Seems there is no affordable chain hotel in greater Anchorage where the clientele and neighborhood don't scare the crap out of you! Certainly don't need to be walking around carefree here. It's main advantage is being on the edge of downtown. Worn-out property with shared bathrooms (used by 1 at a time, unisex), tiny rooms, etc. Each room has a full-size fridge and small flatscreen TV with Direct TV. Does have a kitchen. Fans run everywhere all the time... Funky.

Overall good stay don’t expect a quiet place as it’s right on the main road. Also no bathrooms in the bedrooms but that was clearly stated prior to booking. Good option for those trying to save a little money bathrooms were always clean and kitchen was available for those who wanted to use it. Thanks for the hospitality!

Not having a private bath was a compromise I had to make given the excessively high prices for hotels in Anchorage. However, the hotel is modern, clean and well managed.
