Loved that the hotel was close to the Anaheim MLB stadium to attend a game. The suite was great. Plenty of room and clean and very comfortable. Check in/out was quick and easy. Breakfast was delicious (although no bacon available). Highly recommend The Ayres Hotel in Anaheim.

We asked an employee for some spoons since we we getting top ramen for dinner. She went into the breakfast area got a handful put them in a container behind the desk and walked away. So then we asked the guy behind the desk for some spoons for our top ramen he gave us one.

We really always enjoy our stay at Ayres in Anaheim but the check-in wasn’t the best our during our last visit. The receptionist, because he couldn’t locate our Expedia reservation, insisted that we must’ve make reservations at the wrong Ayres location, perhaps the wrong dates, or maybe under a different name, even after we confirmed the details via our receipt from Expedia, he insisted we were wrong and to check in the morning with his managers. We thought we were running the card for the deposit, no, he ended up doing an entirely different stay and charged us for an extra night. We were able to fix it the following morning but we were delayed getting in the room after driving, as of today, the extra $225 charge hasn’t been refunded yet. So just be wary of late check-in and confirm details before letting them run your card. Again, they fixed it in the morning, but ugh.

Parking was so awkward. We came late in the evening and the front entrance was blocked off so we could not unload.Upon booking, our bill was $154 but we got charged $166 without any explanation. Later I figured out it was a parking charge. I had heard they could be a parking charge of $10 but why was it now $12? We had booked a studio for 3 persons on Expedia but when we got to our room there was no pull out couch for the third person. We had to get another room but was then told we would face additional charges. Really did not get a good vibe in this place. And would not come back !!

Property is most convenient to sports I have ever stayed at. Great spot for Angels game or Ducks. Hotel is managed extremely well. Staff was superb and kind. Hotel is older and very small rooms. There were some stains on carpet and chair. Felt as if the room was clean but I also visually thought maybe not. Was quiet and convenient. Parking was tight, cost money, and was very unusual. Would stay here again but will bring different expectations.
