Adequate but tired

The bed was comfortable and everything functioned as it should, but despite an attempt to renovate not too long ago, the place just seemed tired, rundown, and just needed some TLC.

The room was dirty, there was black mold in the bathroom, months worth of dust accumulated in the air conditioner and one of the suite rooms had a door lock that engaged if the door closes and couldn’t be disarmed. When I went to the front desk to have them unlock the door she gave me her entire key ring for the property and allowed me to do it myself. No guest should ever be given keys to the property and told to bring them back when done. That’s a safety issue for everyone e staying there.

This place is a you get what you pay for. We liked that they did room service everyday, for the most part, until our last day when a few of our items when missing which is super unfortunate. We felt like they could invest in better towels. They were small thin and a little rough. The woman in the main office was very sweet. I’m not sure who cleans the rooms, but i suggest locking up all valuables in a suitcase or in your car during your stay. If you are looking for a cheaper stay we suggest here, as we felt our room was very spacious and comfortable. A just a few things wrong with a hotel. But this is a cheaper property and i fully believe you get what you pay for.

Clean and within walking distance, great price.

We had booked a two queen bed room as stated on the website. When we arrived, I asked if we could have a room on the bottom level because of my daughter‘s knees and the stairs being a pain for her. The gentleman that runs the place is very kind and offered us a room, however, it was definitely not what we were expecting. The room itself had less space than it should have because of the design of the front of the building. But we could deal with that. It was the bathroom that was the main issue. The shower was only about 2 1/2 ft.² no bathtub. The distance between the toilet and the sink made it possible to wash your hands while using the toilet if you so chose. There was absolutely zero counter space for anything, only a sink which made getting ready in the morning with two teenage girls tricky. There was no room for a table because of the way the room was cut out and the only mirror was the one that was in the bathroom, which did some weird flashing things several times while we were there. We never figured out what caused it. Also the sink smelled like it needed to be cleaned out inside, kind of like stale sewer. But overall the room is clean. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were very bulky so be aware if you have a picky neck. The towels were very small and very, very rough. For the price, we would stay there again, but I would make sure that we were not offered room 121. My sister and her family stayed in room 108 which is a mini suite and it was awesome.

Cant beat the price and distance from disneyland.

Customer service was great really friendly staff. I read that is family owned. It is an older hotel needs a little TLC, but it was still comfortable especially after long days at disneyland. We walked into the park each day because of how close it was. I did have to carry the little one back at the end of the days but thats expected. Beds were comfortable. Telivision had lots of channels. Would definitely stay here again.

Look. If you want something fancy with lots of amenities, this place is not for you. If you want a super comfy bed to pass out in after day at Disney, this place is for you. Old, motel style place- very small, had a pool, which looked very clean but we did not use it as it was chilly. We booked a one bedroom suite which had a separate room with a queen bed, which was very small, but it had a door to separate, which was nice. Main area had two double beds and was very large. Showerhead had great water pressure.. Any repairs or maintenance done in the room had a landlord special feel to them. Bottom line- large room, clean, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept on, and a very short walk to the parks. For what we paid and what we got I’m happy.

Although the room was clean to look at, we found multiple locations of mold growing both in the bathroom and the bedroom. Some spots attempts were made to cover the mold with paint, but it's still quite noticeable and quite a lot. The floor was lumpy going into the separate bedroom. The pillows were fantastic. Under the bed was very dirty and we only looked because we dropped something and needed to make sure we didn't forget anything. The hot water was intermittent. Sometimes we only had cold water for washing and for showering. The bar of soap crumbles so we had to purchase our own soap. The shampoo is stinky. The towels are small and abrasive. There is no vent in the bathroom and although the bedrooms were chilly given the time of year, it felt very humid as if it was hot, even with the bathroom window open. The ad on Expedia listed a shuttle (surcharge) but when I asked about it he said rudely "You can walk. It's 10 minutes." We did not use the pool area. Most days there was an older man with a radio set up next to the hot tub, his six pack of beers and smoking while sitting in it. Pictures of this place are very deceiving. On a good note, the pillows are nice and they do a good job of making the beds. We didn't expect a 5 star but we did expect it to be better.
