Stunning hotel, closest one to the station. Reception were really lovely and accommodating and happy to help. Beds were comfortable, shower was powerful and clean. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Great place to stay with a lot cheaper price compare with other options in Amsterdam. Very close to Amsterdam, 12 minutes by trains, but there was no train on my last day because of a strike and things became super complicated. The neighbourhood was great, near the famous Inntel hotel. And there was a big grocery store nearby too. My room was very large (I got a free upgrade) and the bed was comfy. There was black mold in the bathroom though and it stunk a bit on the first day. But overall, everything was fine.

Zaandam is a really convenient location for getting around the Netherlands. The hotel is near the station and room was spacious but found the mattress a little soft. Overall a great experience and would stay again

Whenever I'm in this area will always stay here. The service is always good. The resteraunt does good food if needed though maybe a little pricey and also fairly basic but fresh. The breakfast buffet is also very wide and good. The welcome from the reception girls is wonderful and reception is manned 24/7 which is a bonus as well when leaving early.

This was a great option for a cheaper alternative to staying in downtown Amsterdam. Amsterdam was very accessible by train and Zaandam was a very charming town to explore. The staff of the Zaan Hotel were great and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean.

The room was not clean. There were some crumbs on the floor. Outreach garbage wasn’t emptied for 2 days which is not good with food waste in there. The air conditioner didn’t work. The bed is uncomfortable and the pillows were so small even when you doubled it over they were terrible. There were noisy people outside throughout the night and early mornings. I would not stay in this hotel again. I stayed because of the good reviews but uncertain where those came from.
