Close to Central station, however it's still a 10-15 min walk. Area around the property was quiet and private, however still within walking of multiple food and shopping options. Staff was friendly, considerate and knowledgeable.

We stayed as a birthday weekend away for my partners 26th birthday spoken to hotel regarding this and on arrival there was balloons chocolate and beer and sweets left as a birthday treat the room was cosy and very clean! Lovely view of the river. I generally couldn’t pick fault in an of it. We loved our stay and I would definitely come back.

Loved this place! The concierge was wonderful; she even came across the street to the Bagels and Beans (which we also enjoyed) to let us know the room was ready. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. They made the whole Amsterdam experience extra wonderful.

We stayed during ADE 2024, for 4 days. For the price point of a Junior Suite it was not worth the price. The hotel hosted parties everyday until midnight, and the hotel lobby was always noisy and filled with non-guests who held up the elevators for paying guests. The lobby and the outside was always too noisy while these parties were happening. It was also not as clean, on most nights after each party the lobby wasn’t immediately cleaned. Broken glass was on the floor. Our room wasn’t cleaned daily even though we requested cleaning, and were told cleaning is limited to certain hours which is acceptable to a degree. But it is 2024 most hotels offer 24 hour service especially for Junior Suite prices. We waited 3 hours for towels to be brought to our room. When our room was serviced something was always missing—wash cloths, extra towels and our shower gel was empty. I really adored this property but I’m afraid it has declined especially during ADE. A lot of guests didn’t know about the parties and were also not pleased about the noise, when we opened the window we could hear loud conversations and music. I hope when we return it won’t be similar to our experience during ADE, and if they keep having loud parties during ADE we will choose another hotel with better sound proofing and 24 hour cleaning service. This hotel was supposed to be a quiet, clean and safe respite from all the noise. At times, we felt unsafe when non guests attending the party were clearly openly doing drugs.

Handy location, walkable from the central station and spacious room. Not right beside the station but if you don’t mind 10 min walk, it’s very handy. Friendly services and new/modern facilities I would stay again.

Neat little find
Great hotel a little off the beaten path. Great value if you don’t mind a walk. The decor was a little outdated and trying too hard to be contemporary. I would stay there again.

Blocked drain and unpleasant
Unfortunately I’m not able to rate a 5 star review. This is my experience: Day 1, we found out the shower drain was block, found myself my legs being soaked in the shower with dirty water, had to get out of shower quickly (about 2 mins shower) worried the water gonna run out the shower room and flood the entire bathroom. Day 2, around 10:30 am wake up and rang the reception desk to request to fix the drain, they promised will do that during the day. Came back to hotel in the late evening, 10 pm found out the shower is still blocked. Rang the reception desk they said will get back to wait. Waited about 30 min no one back to me. Rang again, they requested me to hold the phone , waited, then they said to provide me a different room which is located on 6th floor ( my room is on 9th floor) for a shower only. And will let me know when the room is ready. Waited another 30 mins. No one ever contact me and I had to ring AGAIN, they said just 5 mins someone will bring me a room key. Waited another hour. No one ever bring me a key or fix the drain. It’s 11:50 pm. I was too tired to wait so I rang the reception please don’t bother to bring me key anymore I need to sleep now. It’s horrible. Day 3, 10 am in the morning I rang the reception desk Again, they apologised about last night and offered me free breakfast for the next day. And they also sent someone to fix the drain finally, actually they could have done that one day before. Drain finally fixed. Thank god.

Hotel was great albeit long waits for the elevator. A bit of a walk to places is usually not an issue but it was very rainy and windy to the point umbrellas were useless. Will stay again!
