Paper thin walls, it's like next door are in the room with you! A shame really as the staff were very pleasant and the location is perfect. Sadly won't be staying again, but if they fixed the noise issues it would be an obvious choice.

Easy to walk to places to eat and shop. Less than 5 minutes away from Van Gogh museum. Room was nice with a tub and separate shower and room was nicely decorated. Breakfast had a nice spread of different choices. Would definitely stay again. Only negative was the steps to get into the place.

Stay away!

I know the rooms in Amsterdam hotels are small but this one is outright fraudulent. We booked a medium room which was advertised at 16m2 (here and on their own website) but the room was barely 13m2 even if you ignore walls. There was also black mold on the window frames and the radiator couldn’t heat the room properly. Stay away! I complained to hotels.com and the reception and I’m yet to receive a refund. The receptionist was friendly about the situation and tried to help but there were no other rooms available. We had to find a different hotel last minute with no help from either.

We had a great stay! Room was a little small but cozy. Room service every other day. Helpful and friendly staff. Great location central to the museums — about a 10/15 minute walk for food more towards the city center. Paid breakfast approx 16 euro (slightly cheaper if you book ahead for multiple days). Hotel was quiet and in a quiet neighborhood.
