The young, energetic staff always seemed freindly & eager to help out. Housekeeping was right on point. The poximity to the main train station is a big plus for me as I have limited mobility. It is literally a 100 yard walk from the train from Schipol to the lobby of the hotel. One suggestion, coffee makers in the rooms please.

If you are coming from America, just know most hotels don't have microwave and fridge. I went with my family, 2 kids under 4 in cold January, and the heater has a limit. Breakfast is nice, staff was helpful. We were checked in early without any extra cost. Amsterdam is nice, id rather do a stay that is not hotel-like because of family.

The facilities were on par with any other Ibis. The service was non-existent. I requested an extra pillow, to then follow up 2times over 2 hours then on 3rd time I followed up to see when the pillow would be brought to the room I was told it had been and the lady argued with me over this to then be told if I wanted it I would have to go back to reception to get it.

Mixed Review, but overall a good stay.

We had a good stay here, great central location and access to Amsterdam Centraal. I would critique the functionality of the room, I totally understand the contemporary style, but really, why a total lack of hooks for hanging jackets, especially as how damp and wet it can be in winter. Surely 2 hooks on the "wardrobe" alcove would be an easy add. The only other issue was the reception clerk announcing our room number to the lobby at check in, absolute no no in the hotel industry, we shared and elevator with a gentleman who made the comment, well at least I know your room, we laughed, but pretty serious really especially for solo female travellers.

Hotel is in a great location for accessing the tram and metro network & convenient for Amsterdam central station. Staff on reception were very welcoming and it was a relief that we were able to check in earlier than 3pm as the room was ready. The staff that come to service the rooms are very friendly and do a thorough job. A couple of minor issues- the plug which was connected to the bathroom sink was too big for the plug hole! The shower fitting was scaldingly hot and there were a few holes in the bed linens. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again because of the location, the cleanliness and the value.

Great location, competitive prove, friendly staff

Great location, competitive price, cool vibe and friendly staff. We arrived on a really early morning flight to Amsterdam and as such as arrived at the hotel before check in. A room was ready and the staff allowed us in early which was much appreciated. The room was on the small side, but clean and well-furnished. Would definitely stay again.

It’s my second stay at this hotel. Considering it’s Ibis and it has bare minimum in your room but it’s right at the central train station, breakfast buffet is good, friendly staff. I forgot my cell phone charger and the person at the reception gifted me one, I was grateful. It’s close to restaurants and river canal tours. If you don’t have much expectations in terms of room amenities then I would recommend it. They also have tea pot in your room with complementary tea and coffee and two waters.

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is very close to the Amsterdam Centraal Station and is within walking distance to the shopping area and night life. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Different rooms are available but if you wish to be looking at the ships going up and down the river or the trains then you need to book a room with a View.

Great location, right next to the Amsterdam central station. But this is the worse ibis I ever stayed. Toilet is very small, but I guess this is normal in Amsterdam central. Facilities are old. No kettle, no cups, nothing, even the clothes hangers are cheap plastic. Also there were people talking in the early morning in the hallway...
