Staff were excellent, location was ideal for trams and buses, plenty of shops pubs and restaurants nearby, bathroom was small which is the reason I said good not excellent on the rating, bit would definitely stay here again.

This a great place to stay outside the hustle of the bigger centre area. It's quieter and everything is close enough to walk There's lots of quaint cafés on the corner, and plenty of options to choose from to eat. The front desk staff is kind and knowledgeable. The rooms are a bit small but met our needs.

Room is extremely small. With even smaller bathroom. You can hardly move around. Pictures on the website are very deceiving. Employees were friendly but room was not very clean with cheap decor. Will never stay there again

Great hotel for the money. Great location. My only feedback would be the shower. Get rid of the shower curtain. It’s old fashioned and unhygienic. And put a mixer tap on the shower instead of the old fashioned separate hot/cold taps.

Let customers know you are under construction
We came for ADE, to enjoy dancing in Amsterdam. The room we got was between two rooms that were being renovated which means that out of the 6 nights we stayed here, we didn’t sleep for 3 nights because the construction work started early morning. The noise was impossible. At the reception they belittled my claim that they should have let their guests know that they are under construction. Instead of moving us to a different room that might have been quite, the manager said that we can relax because that don’t work on the weekend..I guess she felt that 3 night of sleep out of 6 is good enough 😞 for me, this is not how you make a guest feel good

Great location on a quiet street yet close to Nine Streets, bars and restaurants, shops and the canals as well as public transport and the bus to the airport. Clean room, lovely staff - very serviceminded. Would stay again.

Beginning with the warm welcome we received, the hospitality of hotel management and staff was excellent. The room was spotless. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was delicious, with special homemade additions. This unassuming hotel is located in a very walkable and charming neighborhood, with easy access to transportation if needed. We are so pleased that we chose the De Looier Hotel and would love to return someday.
