The motel old west theme is wonderful. Loved all the decor and amenities. However, we found three roaches and the dog park fake grass needed to be cleaned.

Great front desk lady ! The bed by the bathroom made alot of noise just turning over at night so it woke us up everytime someone moved and in the middle of that bed it almost felt like the bed was sagging . Not your fault when it came to noise upstairs neighbors after midnight , so we got up and just left about 430isham.

Though I didn’t give a five star review, I absolutely love this hotel and stay here every time I pass through Amarillo. I mainly love it because I love the big Texan steakhouse which is part of the hotel. And for me, it’s wonderful because it’s also dog friendly. I never interacted with the staff, which is fine. I recommend it to anybody who’s going to Amarillo. Really fun experience and great steaks great price.

True Texan Treasure!
Traveling from Texas to Denver. We knew we were going to have dinner at the Big Texan. When we found out they had an adjoining motel next door at a great price, we thought we would try it out for one night. So glad we did. Check in was from the phone, room is clean, eclectic, western theme. Beds were very comfortable. To have the famous restaurant on the same property was so convenient for weary travelers.

Their website is extremely deceiving. No live music, below average food, pool was closed, extremely slow service at the restaurant, extremely loud from all the trucks, unfriendly rude staff.
