Quick stop in south Amarillo
Like most people that stop here on the Interstate, it was a one-night stay. We do it all the time hauling. This hotel has very helpful staff, and they helped us before we even checked in. We called ahead, and they gave us great directions on how to bring trailers in and park that were completely different from the map. Made it much easier. The staff were great, the room was just what we needed, and the breakfast was good. We usually stop on I 40 in Amarillo, but this will be our new stopping point. Easy to get in and out if you are pulling a trailer and better price for this type of hotel.

Location was perfect for our trip. Was very clean. A few complaints, the pool and spa were closed. The highway seems to be like a race track and was very noisy which made it hard to sleep. Walls seemed paper thin and could hear everything going on in other rooms.

The lady at the desk was wonderful, very helpful and kind and full of information. The sink faucet sqeaked. Our bed was lumpy and soft and uncomfortable! The breakfast was very good. Neither my husband nor i slept well.

Check in was very fast. The clerk was extremely nice and helpful. The property was a little away from shopping & dining but definitely worth it. Our room was a little noisy so next time we plan on getting a room on the top floor. The room had tons of room. Quiet from street noise only upstairs room noise. We will be staying here again.

First, the staff member on duty when we arrived late the first evening was very nice. He was friendly and engaging every time we encountered him. The room was the issue. The toilet wouldn’t flush well and was constantly running. I fixed that myself. There were stains on sheets and random stains all around the room. The general cleanliness of the room was below average. Attention to detail would go a long way. The breakfast was average for a hotel like this, but the prepackaged muffins were moldy. We ate other things, but still. Not what we wanted to see. The location was fine and access to Amarillo and Canyon was great. I’d stay here if again if there wasn’t another option, but it was slightly below average, primarily due to cleanliness and attention to details.
