Don’t be put off by the picture
We were just passing through Altenburg staying for one night so booked this based on price rather than aesthetic appeal and had no expectations of greatness. We were very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. The room was large and clean with a good bathroom. The bar also helped things along. Overall I would recommend this hotel, it is much better than the picture would suggest.

Even though the room description said “free wifi”, I had no internet connection. The staff at the front desk couldn’t be less friendly. Did not even to try to solve the problem. Gave an indifferent sorry as it is what it is.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Beim Frühstück gibt es keinen Filterkaffee sondern nur einen Kaffeeautomat und was da raus kommt hat mit Kaffee nichts zu tun Im Zimmer habe ich, gerade bei den Temperaturen im Moment, einen kleinen Kühlschrank vermisst.

Midtpåtreethotel preget av 90-tallet.
Vi kom sent på kvelden etter en laaang kjøretur. Ingen i resepsjonen, og måtte ringe et telefonnummer, all informasjon på tysk, burde vært på engelsk også. Rommet var rent, men forferdelig varmt. Ingen Aircondition. Men for den prisen man betalte var det vel ikke mer å vente. Men at det ikke er noen i resepsjonene på natta er spesielt. Hva skjer dersom det begynner å brenne? Hvem har da ansvaret for å bistå å hjelpe? Selv om hotellet bører preg av 90-tallet på alle måter er det rent og vedlikeholdt.

Hallo, mein Freund und ich wollten Leipzig besuchen. Von diesem Hotel gibt es eine direkt Verbindung mit dem Zug. Der Bahnhof befindet ca.10min. Fußläufig vom Hotel entfernt. Das Hotel war super immer wieder gerne 😉

Nicht gut fanden wir, dass die Rezeption an 2 Tagen nicht besetzt Ware.Auch beim Auschecken war nirgends ein Mitarbeiter/ in vorzufinden, so dass wir den Schlüssel und den Betrag, den wir noch schuldig waren einfach hinter den Tresen abgelegt haben. Die schöne Bar konnten wir bewundern, leider gab es keine Getränke, da kein Personal irgendwo zu finden war. Am Anreisetag waren die Damen an der Rezeption sehr freundlich.Leider haben wir sie nicht mehr grsetwährend des Aufenthaltes.
