Out of the way but great stay
The hotel is a little hard to find but once there you won’t be disappointed. The rooms are great, the staff even better, and is only let down by its mediocre breakfast. Cold eggs and sausages and limited variety. The hotel staff went out of their way to assist us , as Alitalia had lost our bags. We arrived with very little personal possessions. Next day the staff called Madrid airport numerous times to chase our bags, gave us a later checkout and offered extra nights at the same rate if we needed to wait for our bags. What a great bunch of people. Thank you so much!!

first class service in a stunning location
Third time we have stayed at this hotel. Each time we are the only guests ! This doesn't stop the staff being extremely helpful, courteous and professional. Each trip we have had breakfast and room service and these are always excellent. We have now tried all three bedroom types and suggest paying the little extra for a superior room, the gold room is outstanding. This is a hotel just five minutes off the motorway and 15 minutes from central Toledo. Surrounded by open countryside it is total peace and quiet with extraordinary night sky when there are no clouds. This is also a very dog friendly hotel and the surroundings make for great walks. Not all the staff speak English, but this isn't a problem.

This was a cute, out of the way stay. I loved the stables. I was not able to book riding at reception (I thought she understood that I wanted to go and would book a time for me at the stables. Either she didn't understand my request or I didn't understand the directions on how to book). Too bad as I would have liked to go. Other than that, the room was fine, dinner was okay. Absolutely stunning location - and that is what sets this place apart.

a great hotel close to Toledo
If you are driving in Spain, stop at this hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is very good and the quality of all rooms throughout the hotel is very high. The main thing is the location; The hotel is miles from anywhere and at night there is minimal light pollution, amazing. If you want to experience a first rate hotel in a truly rural environment, this is ideal.

Secluded hotel in the middle of nowhere, tranquil
Secluded but not that far off the main road . Lovely hotel with very friendly attentive staff. Our Labrador dog was made welcome although not allowed in the restaurant . We were able to walk her in the surrounding olive groves which was great. Treatment in spa was good but didn't have time to use spa facilities. Tennis and Padel court ideal for my boys . Room good , lovely bathroom but bed not as comfortable as we are used to. Pillows& mattress could be of a better quality . Linen of a fair quality Would recommend and hope to return.

Kold pool, ingen mad og manglende vedligeholdelse.
Det er et hotel med masser af muligheder, desværre formår de ikke selv at se hvilken perle og potentiale hotellet har. Fx er der, en lækker bygning som kunne være en fed pool bar, desværre var den ikke åben i de 7 dage vi var der, i stedet skulle alle der lå ved poolen, selv gå ind og bestille drikkevare. Det er ubegribeligt at man ikke vælger at sende en tjerner ud ved hver halv time og spørge om man vil bestille noget. Ligesom det er ubegribeligt at man, på trods af at man er i ingenmandsland, ikke kan bestille en middags snack, sandwich, burger eller andet let anretning. Det virker nærmest som om at man ikke vil tjene penge. Stedet trænger til, at der er en daglig håndværker der går og laver alle de mange småting og fejl der er næsten over alt. Det kan godt være at jeg måske er lidt præget af mit daglige virke i facilities management afdelingen, men ikke desto mindre ved jeg hvad jeg ser. Og ham der kom for at slå græs den ene dag, var ren underholdning og håber virkelig at han får løn for udført arbejde og ikke pr. time, for så kan det ikke være andet end endnu et sted hvor der sættes penge til. Poolen...er et flot ord for et isbad, var nødt til at spørgen om den med vilje var nedkølet. Gør gæsterne og jer selv en kæmpe tjeneste og sørg for at den enten ikke har så hurtigt et gennemløb eller sæt en varmepumpe på, så man kan holde ud at opholde sig i den i mere end 5 min. Det som trækker stedet op er personalets utrolige imødekommenhed.
