Rooms are old and faulty (leaking shower, doors not working etc), beds were uncomfortable and cheap. Room was overpriced for the crappy quality.

Property was dirty and had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. My granddaughter got locked in the bathroom because the door was dodgy. The pictures on the hotel website sadly don’t portray the real look and standard of the hotel. Would recommend finding accomodation else where.

We booked a room a Motel Lodge for an overnight stay while driving to Brisbane and it was the worst motel I've stayed at. The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair all over the shower and bathroom floor and sink from someone shaving. The bathroom was mouldy and dusty. The shower pressure was super low, to get hot water you couldn't have the cold tap on at all. The shelf and door in the bathroom were water damaged - part of the bathroom door had rotted off and was on the floor. The toilet roll holder was broken too. There was a window without a curtain above the main door that let the balcony light in and lit the whole room up all night. Very loud noises from inside the wall, I think it was water pipes, woke us up at random times during the night. Didn't get much sleep and we left as soon as we could in the morning. I don't recommend Motel Lodge to anyone.

The reception staff were very friendly. When we got to the room, the smell was horrible. The bathroom sink was dirty, someone had shaved and not cleaned it. The toilet was dirty, the shower was dirty. The water in the shower was hot but the shower was disgusting. The towels and bed linens were clean. The refrigerator and furniture were dirty and the microwave had hair in it and was filthy. I really do not recommend it. The energy in the place was heavy and the people staying there were strange. I found the price of the accommodation very expensive for what they offer.

Th staff were friendly. The room was poor. Missing door handle to the bathroom. Broken toilet roll holder. Couldnt turn on shower cold tap. Kitchen door handles missing. Section of carpet missing. Extremly noisy so couldnt sleep therefore left during the early hours of the morning.

Bathroom sink dripping all night. No pressure for hot water and hot water took a while to get hot enough for a shower. Spider in room and it stunk. TV out dated and fridge made noise all night

The staff was super friendly and helpful, but I would not stay here that’s for sure! The floor was filthy and I put a towel on the floor so we could stand on this as it was still wet. The white towel was black from the dirt. The curtains were too small so everyone could look inside. This was temporary fixed with some tape. The two kids mattresses were hard as you could feel the springs. There is a very good fish and chips shop walking distance and this was a bonus! We were tired and had an early night and left early. Glad to get out of there!

This property was unclean with mould in bathroom/toilet.etc. No security on front door. Screens were damaged. Room smelt like someone had been smoking in a NON-SMOKING ROOM. No rubbish bin or extra blanket. Air con unit was covered in dust. Very disappointed in room. Also woken by 2 men bashing on door at 4.30am.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Next time I would rather sleep on the street. The room smelled like bleach and the room was disgusting. The first hotel door had a fist size hole in it. Horrible and should be shut down

The property is poorly maintain. Arrived at 6.30pm and room was not ready. The door to the bathroom would not close. Chars in room were filthy. Managers appeared to be under influence of some substance.

Due to the high demand I had no choice but to book this motel. It's not nice. Didn't even have a mirror in bathroom. Just old and tacky and neglected. Had to spin the fan with my hands to get it working. No drinking glasses. Only stay here if you get it dirt cheap and budget is the only thing that matters.

Room was not ready on check-in, they said 20 mins so we gave them double the time and it still wasn't ready. Bathroom window had a 3 inch ventilation gap with no mesh, insect got in. It was cheap so you get what you pay for i guess.

Definitely not 3 star
Mattresses and bases plus furniture which obviously was to be thrown away leaning on exterior walls,. Overgrown poisioned weeds and and cigarette butts all around the entrance to the unit. Advertisement said “Queen bed” but 2 singles were also in the room making it near impossible to use the bathroom. Price was right and staff were helpful

We didn’t stay here as we felt unsafe. Cleaning materials and dirty linen lying outside our unit. Broken furniture around the pool which was green. Rubbish and other crap in full view from the pool. Empty Coke cans and used tissues in full view at the reception desk. A man swearing at the top of his lungs at someone near the reception area. The unit - noisy aircon, door not secure, hole in the bathroom door - obviously someone’s fist. Leaky shower head. Manager was very helpful and apologetic. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

The room was nothing like shown in any pictures, neither was the outside area, front of building or the pool area. Photos are very outdated. We had broken tiles, dangerous flooring strip between beds area and kitchen area. Broken dispenser in shower. Light switches hanging off wall. Wires exposed between fan and roof, not secured safely or properly. Wires hanging over bed from TV to power point. Fan covered in dust and dirt. Shower, toilet and bathroom area dirty, not cleaned properly and mould was seen. We both woke up covered in bites which we can only assume was bed bugs. We saw a few cockroaches wandering over the kitchen area and benches.
