We stayed here while we went to the NFL draft in Green Bay. We were really only at the motel to sleep. But the view of the beach was spectacular and the employees that we did speak with were more than accommodating. The metal shard in the outlet and the extension cord techniques were a bit questionable. But we stay away from death traps and we got a great deal.

Nice little place on the shores of Lake Michigan. Next to Algoma public beach and close to Sturgeon Bay and Door County. Yes, it’s a motel. No, it is not a hotel. Clean, simple and well managed.

Nice view

Was comfortable and had nice view. Could use more updates. And I know the comforters dont get washed every time, ugh, but when you pull it back off the pillow and find hair its a bit concerning.

Parking lot and entrance to my room covered in thick ice , very dangerous. Bangs, creaks, and noises ALL night long. But from what I have no idea since I was alone in that section of the building. Never saw anyone there. No one at checkout or check in. Breakfast??? Didn’t see anything. If there was it was well after 7:30. It was relatively clean and I am sure it is beautiful in the summer when you can go down by the lake, but it isn’t worth that much in the winter.

Location was wonderful. The two complaints i would have -when we got into our room, the heat was completely off. With wondchill, it was 7°! It took several hours to warm up. Absolutely freezing. There was only a handful of guest. It shouldnt have been to inconvenient for the motel to turn on the heat before we checked in. Walls are a bit thin also. We could hear in detail what the guests above us were doing.

Room with a lake view

Property is clean and fairly well maintained. The view of the lake was amazing. Lots of psrking. Nice beach to take a stroll on. Pillows needed to be thicker and the heating/ac unit was noisy in heat mode.

This is a gem of a property. Steps away from the waves of Lake Michigan. Incredible sunrises. Just sit on balcony and watch and listen to the waves. Peaceful. If have mobility issues let them know as there are stairs to ambulate for first floor rooms.

Nice Motel Stay - Faulty Keycards

Was a good place to stay at for my weekend in Door County. Room was clean when I entered. I will say the only issue I had was my door keycard would stop working randomly which got very frustrating. Was one time where all my things were stuck in my room and I had to call the “emergency” number they had on the front desk since the guy working was not there. He did aid me to a drawer where the master keycard was to unlock the door. But it’s frustrating because I couldn’t leave my room after that without my card not working. Other then the faulty keycards, the stay was good!

Weekend away

This was a couple weekend. Reasonable price for being right on Lake Michigan. Coffee available all day. Continental breakfast was packets of instant flavored oatmeal and processed muffins. We were out site seeing during the day so we were in our room only to sleep. Which the queen size bed was very comfortable. I would stay again because of price and location.

Great views and reasonable prices for the excellent lake front location! Room and bathroom were clean but extra pillows on request were "not available" and the bed id rate a 3/5 for comfortability. Their continental breakfast was sub par at best with a limited selection of pre packaged pastries and watered down coffee but we will be back as the pros out weigh the cons!
