We only stayed one night here, but it was walkable to the lake and looked like it was convenient to public transport. We enjoyed walking down to the loch and to Balloch castle. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

Room was nice. Mattress on single bed was “dented” in centre and needed replacement. Light did not work in bathroom. Breakfast was not worth it, they were out of most of the items. No brown toast, no fruit and fibre or crunchy nut cornflakes, no yogurt. Was overpriced breakfast for very little available. Reception area in hotel building was VERY hot due to the vending machine venting too much heat. Was not hot weather. Needs attention.

Satisfactory stay
Nice stay, but the hotel needs designated staff. At bust times staff are obviously prioritising the restaurant and foot trade but at the detriment of overnight guests. Overall a good location and food was fine.

Very very nice Inn. Friendly kind staff. Very nice restaurant with many many choices. Very comfy bed and pillows. Air conditioning and located just at the foot of the national park and the road to glencoe which was amazing. One of the best stays I have ever had in my 60 years. Hands down

I paid everything on the first of April for the night of stay on 17/7. But I got a phone call from the hotel that my rooms are cancelled on 16/7 because they don’t have enough rooms for us! It has caused us a huge trouble. No compensation at all. I have asked the hotel to send me an email about the cancellation but none. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone as this sudden change of itinerary is a nightmare to travellers, especially I’m bringing granny and children.

Impressive budget hotel the staff are first class
When travelling for business you want easy check in, friendly staff a nice meal and quiet and comfortable room. Queen of the Loch provided all and as a bonus had outside seating to enjoy a rare Scottish sunny day so far in 2024. Impressive budget hotel and the staff are first class.
