I have been wanting to stay at this hotel while in Albury for years. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite what I hoped for. I found the decor a bit tacky, amenities average, room design a little strange, and lacking in some basic expectations. Look, it’s not terrible, and is a bit of an iconic hotel building in Albury, but I would probably only stay again if I got it at a very good price, depending on what else was available.

I enjoyed the games area of a billiards table and jenga blocks that were available to use downstairs, the swimming pool was also great with the warm weather. The beds were extremely comfortable, just the bathroom door was rotted from water damage. Having stayed in other places in Albury before, this is one of my preferred.

Great location, easy walk to shops, cafe and restaurants. Easy check-in and out for those tech savvy individuals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are somewhat tired, fridge not very cold and price high in comparison to others in the area (particularly when comparing to apartment type accommodation).

This property was good. When the air conditioning didnt work in our room, we were promptly moved to another room. Staff wrre friendly and helpful.

Family room was large however bathroom was on the smaller side. Wasn't an issue for us as we only stayed 1 night. It was definitely a plus having a pool and it was central to all the shops and restaurants.
