The staff is consistently helpful and kind. It is clean and safe at a very reasonable rate. I’m so glad I found this place! My daughter has a baby in the NICU at Presbyterian Hospital, so I needed basic accommodations at a fair price, especially difficult during Balloon Fiesta. I found it at Hotel 505. The staff and management have been amazing! Everyone has a smile for us. The place is not new, but is clean and has everything we need. It’s also close to both hospitals and UNM.

I really can’t rate a place I didn’t stay at. I booked the hotel last minute because of a family member being in the hospital. We were going to have to stay in Albuquerque. However we weren’t able to make it into Albuquerque for the reservation. I wasn’t able to cancel. But they still charged on my husbands card. We paid for the purchase insurance too. I called the hotel when we realized we weren’t going to make it to the hotel and the staff responded with “you have to call the website where you booked. We can’t do anything about that charge” So I called and they told us it was non refundable regardless. But the Hotel is what took the charge. I guess I don’t understand how that works. We never stayed here.

VERY mediocre. From a staff(3) that was too busy to help to just poor maintenance. A chain across rodeway with no sign making it visible. Told desk and was never fixed in 4 days. Internet was down and desk clerk was too busy to fix, no internet for entire stay. Entrance had no light, only light was on far wall, very dim. The ice machine was as far away as possible, end of floor 1 us on floor 5.

I had to be in Albuquerque at the beginning of the balloon festival due to a family emergency and this was the only option open. The rooms could be cleaner but the rooms had everything they needed. I was happy to see the mattresses were clean and there were no bed bugs or other little bugs during my stay. The hotel staff was very lovely they helped me do a late check in free of charge and they were very easy to communicate with. Breakfast was a nice option and I was grateful for the coffee and juice options. Overall this is not a luxury hotel but if you find yourself in a situation like me with a last minute trip or a limited option then you can be confident to go ahead and book, you will have a good stay at 505 Hotel.

Hotel 505 - Needs Improvement
The workers are great and they care about their job and guest. However the ownership does take pride in the condition of the hotel.The hotel is rundown and needs lots of upkeep. Internet needs improvement. Breakfast is lacking and does need to be upgraded. If you like gravy and biscuits ONLY for breakfast this is the place for you. When serving scrambled eggs, no kind of toast was available. We will stay here again.

They have this nice pictures of an available pool. Was closed. They did not cleaned my room after 1st night. NO towels next day. Poor breakfast. Too Noisy very close to 25 fwy.

We called before booking the hotel room. I live a mile and a half away from hotel but before new owners, everything was great hot tub was good. The swimming pool was good but this stay we called mainly for the hot tub due to a back injury when we called, they said yes, everything is working order we checked in went to our room noticed a sign on the door saying clothes for maintenance at the pool and hot tub hopefully open at 10:00 PM, which it did we went at 10:30 hot tub was freezing dirty and things floating in it. My wife went into the pool semi warm. We stay Mullin halfway from here me and my family come here used to come here just for the swimming pool and the hot tub regardless of price prime example opening day balloon fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico, paid $489 for two nights. None of the swimming pool and hot tubs were open for maintenance but they open up at 10 o’clock at night room room. Our room air conditioner didn’t work blow hot air at late check-in at 7 PM thinking that it might cool off by 11 o’clock called front desk that AC was not working. Said they would send somebody up 11:39 PM. They send somebody up said yes air conditioner is not working blowing hot air. They gave us another room that we had to move toat 11:50 at night which was a very nice room woke up next morning. Went to breakfast as they say a continental breakfast that corporate tells them what to serve. Their breakfast was eggs, sausage coffee, three different types of juices and six bananas.

They will charge you a $100 deposit which is more than the room at check in with NOTHING disclosing this at time of booking. Deposit can up to 10 days to refund to bank account and that is IF you get it back. I refused the room and they still charged my bank card. I am EXTREMELY unhappy!!!!!!!! On verge of angry in reality.
