This was a great find, with a it’s historical elegance, character and charm, yet updated amenities and rooms. Only downside for me as a coffee drinker is there are no coffee makers in the room. They have a coffee station in each floor but they were not in use during our visit. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Awful customer service and uncomfortable bed/room.
I booked a room with a king bed and received a double bed. When I asked the manager for assistance, all help was declined and she basically said there was nothing she would do to help, refund the difference, or accommodate the overbooking mistake. The only offer was to upgrade to an executive king room for $30 additional. She was also extremely rude. The double bed was extremely uncomfortable and the room was small, without many amenities. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel, particularly one that prides itself in being nice.

Check in staff were amazing. Room was good but a/c didn’t work 2nd night so it was hot and maintainence was gone. Tried to go to the bar but the hostess is too busy running food to actually do their her job (Armani). They seat one tops at a 5 top and leave the 4 extra chairs empty. People would rather sit together and be seated than wait an hour or two. Our last waitress was awesome. Felt pretty safe despite the area.

Not happy with my check in at the hotel . When I made reservation on line hotel.com mislead us . Hotel .com suggested that room accommodate for tree people , but when we were checking in the hotel clerk said room capacity is not not enough for three people and we have to get a different room and pay another $80 dollars on top what we paid on line . Therefore hotel.com should not mislead people .

Front desk manager is unprofessional and rude. Confirmed fees before booking, and upon arriving was told that one of their associates was “wrong” and refused to honor their previous confirmation. Their demeanor was antagonistic and snarky, placing the blame on their associate and me, and too bad they’re not honoring what I was promised. It left such a bad taste and honestly ruined my trip. Did not come on vacation to be gaslit and deal with a condescending, power tripping reception staff.

Treat Yourself to a Wonderful Stay
This is a beautiful, historic hotel. You immediately feel special to be staying there. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. The patio out back was very pretty and welcoming. There was a terrific restaurant and outdoor patio on the roof.

It's a redesigned hospital from the 1930s, with lovely rooms and a wonderful roof-top bar. The free breakfast is a bit skimpy unless you're partial to pastries and mini frittatas. There's a good breakfast/lunch restaurant about 3 blocks walk. The hotel is right off of I-25, so it's a bit noisy outside, but the rooms are quiet enough. Love staying here.
