Front desk folks were great. Hotels.com did NOT say there was an extra charge for pets ($40/pet/night), so the manager helped make that right for us. Pet friendly does NOT mean pets are free…Hotels.com needs to show these costs and make that declaration as part of registration (number of guests, number of pets,…..). The room was painted black and the blackout curtains were effective…we slept in each morning until 8:00. No elevator and no baggage carts, which wouldn’t be a big deal except we were moving from Ohio to Oregon and had a number of items we didn’t want to leave in the car. Nice place and great view of the morning hot air balloons over Albuquerque.

A nice small inn. Room wasn't fully cleaned by our arrival (floor wasn't swept), but it may have been the aftereffects of landscaping outside. It was great to walk around the golf course it sits on and seeing multiple balloons in December.

Upscale, but the staff was welcoming and very gentle. A very nice landing after a long trip. The combination of the staff and the feeling of being in an upscale resort was a lovely feeling. To the point of making excuses to stay there again soon :)

El Verde is a WONDERFUL place to enjoy peace, quiet and serenity. The balcony patio offered a beautiful view of the gardens and golf course and provided a great place to visit and relax.
