The hotel and staff were beyond expectations. I was slightly irritated that Travelocity did not inform me that they would want an extra $100 for deposit once I arrived for check in. An overall great stay!

No communication from staff

We were given a sheet of paper along with a smaller vehicle tag at check in. There was not much verbal communication from the front desk person. I didn't read it. And I wish I had as you would have to go in and turn on your ice machine in order to have any ice. So the next morning I found that out when I went to check out. I also found out on that little piece of paper that your supposed to put in your vehicle front window shield tells you There's a five dollar parking fee plus tax. I was not told this at checkin as they do not communicate that or anything else when you check in. Not a very nice area, I don't feel safe and would not stay here again, ever! The kitchen items were lacking and very mismatched. Bed was comfortable.

I stayed @ Sonesta on my first trip to Albuquerque and loved the layout of the room. Love the desk and chair and where the TV was hung. Only thing the room had a bad odor like something died in the fridge. I bought a candle and had to light it all 3 nights. I booked again and got a different room same smell. I'm out...not going back.

Room was not properly cleaned, crumbs through out on the rug, moved the recliner & food crumbs under the recliner. Rug smelled like urine too, had to buy disinfectant spray, sprayed down the entire rug, finally smelt better.

property and room was nice and modern, but the staff was rude and upsetting after one night of staying housekeeping just entered our room The next morning to put new towels in our bathroom and take the old ones, but we hadn't asked for any towels and hadn't used any towels. They were being nosy and went into the bedroom and looked into the nightstand drawer where my auntie who was going through surgery that day had her medication plus cannabis edibles in there and the housekeeping went and told management that there was a drugs in the room and they told us they couldn't rent to us anymore and made us leave that day when my aunt was getting ready to get out of the hospital from surgery and they kept the deposit and had to get another room, so Aunt could rest Comfortably after her surgery. The manager was extremely rude and couldn't communicate professionally. She even called security, very unprofessional Workplace

Served the purpose,but looking elsewhere next time

The hotel served its purpose, but it was not what I've experienced at other Sonesta brand properties. Towels were good quality, but I intensely dislike places that make you take used towels to the desk to get fresh towels. Kitchenette was useful, but sink in first room had something foul in the sink drain & both rooms I saw had incomplete kitchen stock of bowls/utensils. Parking is an additional fee that wasn't disclosed until after my payment + deposit was processed. Staff was pleasant. My stay was sufficient, but I don't plan to stay again.
