The Baymont by Wyndham was a pleasant surprise. I was concerned that the location near the freeway would be too noisy. My room was located on the opposite side of the building and thanks to the wall-vent (the fan sound created a white noise) I didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was really good; potatoes, sausage and scrambled eggs (hot breakfast), fruit, yogurt, and Danishes. The stay was nice and helpful. I felt safe and slept well on a comfortable bed. It is an older hotel, that appears to have been remodeled at some point. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stay here about every year. Only complaint is complimentary shuttle to airport does not start until 5 am. Our plane left at 5 am. I asked the girl what I needed to do because I had to get to the airport. She said. “You’re on your own”. I said well I have to do something do you have any numbers I can call. She said there’s a card right there you can call. Was really disappointed with her especially since we like staying there. I’ll really have to think about staying there the next time I’m in ABQ.

The property itself was very clean, updated, and nice. It's gated and has security to check the grounds at night. The area surrounding the hotel was a little sketchy but close to restaurants and stores.

I thought it was odd that there was a sign for water for $1.50 at the front desk but the water from the sink smelled like sulphur. The hotel lobby is pleasant but has a scent like Fabreze. Otherwise, it was a comfortable, convenient place near the airport.

Very dirty, poor service
We discovered our duvet had blood on it from a previous guest. Attempted to contact the front desk with no response. We had to remove it and use our own blanket. The next morning I text the number they contacted me on and was instructed I could come down and get fresh linen. Unacceptable!!

Hotel was easy to get to and had plenty of onsite parking. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent. We were on first floor. Upstairs “neighbor” was noisy all hours of the night. The hallway is not carpeted so all sounds echoed in our room. We were close to the vending machine/ice machine so lots of traffic. The breakfast area is smallish not much seating but the food was always replenished and coffee was good. Website said no pets but that was wrong, a lot of dogs were staying there, they were better behaved than the people.

Good place with uneven beds
We were there three nights and it was a good stay. There is one big issue and that is both beds at a hollow place and they were very uneven. This made for a not so comfortable sleep.
