This is a safe and convenient property. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was your average hotel breakfast, and the coffee was fresh and hot. I'd stay here again at that price point.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the area. While the hotel is older the staff and cleanliness exceeded our expectations! The owner (Im assuming) checked us in and could not have been nicer! I was blown away by how nice he was. The entire staff (breakfast, house keeping) was so darn nice that I wished I got to work with them. My mom is visiting the area in a couple weeks and I told her she was crazy not to stay here. Thank you for a wonderful stay and hospitality that exceeds 99 % of hotels. You have a wonder if staff who truly cares

The owner of the property was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The property itself was budget friendly and clean. Dated but well taken care of! They also had sleds customers could borrow and use for free for the dunes.

You get what you pay for. While the room was fine, the hallway and other areas are just dated and a bit tattered. The smell, however, is terrible. It is so overwhelming. I’m not sure if it’s some sort of potpourri or the laundry detergent, but it is nauseating. Luckily it was a bit better in the actual room and the window opened - though there is no screen on the window…
