I had sent a message a few weeks earlier and told them that we had a son in a wheelchair and would like the accommodations we chose, to be on the first floor. I also called earlier the day we were arriving and said we would be late, and the approximate time we would arrive. Then 30 minutes before we arrived, I got a call from the night manager asking if we were coming. I told her that I had called in the morning and we were 30 mins away. When we got there, I was told that we were upgraded because all the rooms, in the category we chose, were gone on the first floor. We thought that was ok until we saw the room. Though it was large inside, the sink was in the main room, the bed was hard, the TV programming was awful, the phone system didn’t work well when we called the office, and couldn’t hear them, and there wasn’t any handicap parking. Plus, I had to walk back to the office to get the bedding for the sofa bed for our son. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed since I had tried hard to get the accommodations I had reserved. Also, they didn’t tell us when breakfast was over, and it was an hour earlier than the weekend, and we missed it.

Bed was nice, towels and sheets were clean. Pretty quiet, and the area did have a lot of places to dine and it was all within walking distance. Breakfast was pretty good as well. In room coffee was not that good though. Still, overall, not a bad place to stay for the price

Very good stay. I was in a corner room downstairs. Very quiet and private. Previous stays I had an alarm clock with a big display. This room did not have one. The microwave did have one but not easily scene. I wanted to take a bath but the drain plug did not fit the drain. I just used a wash cloth. Would of been nice but not an inconveniece. All staff very friendly, listen with thought, and reacted whatever I brought to their attention. The dining area was good although the kitchen area was cramped at times. For the amount of rooms I would recommend expanding the area. I understand when there is low room occupation the kitchen is a good size. But when there is a full capacity that is when the crampness is felt. I have always been pleased with my treatment of the front desk. I am usually accommodated with convenient room selection. When choices are limited the person I am dealing with is clear of the situation and nice....

This place was great! I loved the breakfast with the waffle batter dispenser and waffle maker; that was so fun! Wish there had been actual cartons of cream, instead of the single serve creamers. The room was also very nice. There was plenty of space to lay out all our luggage. The more expensive hotel room we had in ABQ was more cramped than the spacious room we stayed at here at the Quality Inn & Suites. The biggest complaint I have was that the parking lot was full.

The gal who checked us in was very friendly. Our room had an odd odor and was semi-clean. The morning staff was not as friendly- especially whomever was in charge of the very limited and lacking breakfast. It was also pretty obvious they weren't a fan of kids.

I reserved a suite but upon check in was told it wa under maintenance and all they could give me was a standard room. I booked a suite room because I wanted to use the Kitchen-net so I was disappointed. The front desk staff said they can’t reimburse me for the difference because I booked through Expedia and all they could do was waive me from 3 dollar fee. I later contacted Expedia customer service but all they could do was give me 25dollars in key cash that I don’t really need… Aside from the issue above, room was very clean and breakfast was good. Good location if you want to visit white sands and they let you borrow sleds which was really nice. There was only one laundry machine it was out in the open and anyone who aren’t the guest of the hotel could access it so that wasn’t so nice.
