Great breakfast, location, and room. Nearly every restaurant you’d need right down the street and a Walmart across the road. White Sands National Park twenty minutes down the road and mountains in the distance in every direction. I must say though, this is not what I expected the hotel to be. I wanted to stay in a normal hotel and decided to pay a little more to have a brand name. This ended up being a rebranded motel. Besides that, everything was amazing. Seems like a lot of hotels in New Mexico seem to be motel-like anyways. The area this hotel is in is safe too. Stayed in some other bad areas throughout the state.

When i made the reservation, i put that it needed to be a handicapped room. I even called the property and told them. We get there, i can barely get my sons wheelchair through the door. I could not get him into the bathroom. The hide-a-bed was like sleeping on the floor. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. There was a huge roach on the wall between the bed and couch. It was about anickle size in diameter. I even pointed it out to the housekeeping. They did not come around to see if we needed anything until the morning we left. Parking was terrible. 1 handicapped spit that was taken up by someone without a placard. I've stayed here before and it has been updated but not by allot.

This hotel was dirty, in a bad area. The room stunk so badly of cigarettes, the toilet plugged up in the morning while trying to get ready to leave. The receptionist was rude telling me there were no restrooms to use in the entire hotel to use. Dirty, Dirty, dirty! I used half of a can of Lysol to try to mask the stench. I would never stay there again!
