Staff is terrific. Rooms are cleaner than the look of the place on the outside. Good water pressure in showers and good blackout curtains for sleeping. Feels a little worn, but well worth the price.

Nice basic hotel
Nice basic hotel. Pool was on the small side, but fine for cooling off in the evenings. Refrigerator was set too low so things froze. On the plus side, beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was usual cereals, breads, waffle maker waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, and bananas. Coffee, juice and milk.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. There were lots of people congregating around the pool late at night and drinking and being loud, but once we got in the room and shut the door we couldn’t hear them as much. I’m sure the people in the rooms close to the pool weren’t happy, though

Alamogordo Trip
The stay was nice and affordable. The location is very convenient and the hotel was clean. I prefer bigger, softer pillows. The room had a damp smell. Overall my stay was pleasant.

1. They did not have smoke detectors installed on the room were I stayed 2. No proper bedding pillows, instead they have sofa/couch pillows. Very difficult to sleep with them

The Alamogordo location had a working A/C, a working bathroom vent and light over the sink, but the Days Inn in Carlsbad had A/C leaking on the carpet, non working vent in bathroom and light over sink was out.
