From not having our room cleaned to dirty windows, a completely rusted out toilet brush in our ensuite, mini bar only containing beer and cider(not replenished), dirty carpets, magnifying mirror not attached to the wall-so cheap!, mattresses need to be replaced, very average buffet, outside needs a pressure clean!! There is nothing classy about this place. It needs an overhaul and for the owners to stay there themselves to see it. Really liked where it was situated though.

We stayed at the Mayfair for one night during a basketball tournament with two young children. It proved perfect - heart of the city, lovely room and friendly staff. Simple breakfast but fine for what we needed.

Perfect location for Theatre & shopping & restaura

Birthday treat- stay & drinks @ rooftop bar followed by short walk to show @ Festival Theatre- fabulous buffet breakfast before 11am checkout! Super comfy bedding - large bathroom with top quality products!Enjoyed complimentary drinks & snacks in mini bar - will be back again soon.

Having travelled extensively for many years, I know the problems of check-in. But this time it was the worst. Check-in was at 3pm. When I returned there were many people waiting to check-in. So I got in at 3.25pm - making it a very long day. Sort of got the trip off to a bad start. One wonders if an hour early is of such significance - other punters (obviously some sort of member) got in at 11.30am. Oh well.

A slightly faded hotel with care needed in housekeeping in the bedrooms ( carpets ). Price point very reasonable. Breakfast service good. Beef Wellington fabulous in the fine dining restaurant. Special mention to Joe the concierge who was very helpful and made our stay.

Luxury in the heart of Adelaide

The Mayfair Hotel is clean, relaxing and luxurious and a perfect place to stay when visiting Adelaide. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great as right in the centre close to Rundell Mall and the tram. Rooftop bar was ok, but a bit disappointing in terms of views. Room was amazing and extremely spacious, comfortable and relaxing. A bit pricier than other hotels in the area, but well worth it.

Convenient location. Great breakfast staff and service. Otherwise, dining areas and rooftop bar empty. With better staffing and service, this may change. Despite small lobby and reception area, reception staff's attention was hard to get.

The room was not clean: There were grapes in the corner of the room! Yes Grapes! There were a couple of objects undearth the curtain on the main window wall( I did not want to touch objects, but they appeard to be of a hard plastic) The carpet had x 2 big stains. The mirrirs on the wardrobe had finger marks and other meaksm and a fine layer of dust, appeared not to have been cleaned in awhile. Not very happy with this standard from the Mayfair!!!
