Met most expectations - Five stars

I had a really good stay at Hilton Adelaide for the most part. The room was clean, fresh, spacious, and an upgrade put me on the top floor so I had magnificent views over Victoria Square. A really convenient location with trams and buses immediately outside in the Square. The location is also key to the Central Fresh Produce Markets and the Taste Australia event. The sunrises were beyond spectacular, having never seen the sun rise in the north before! The dining was great regardless of where you had a meal. I must say the staff were extremely professional and all very approachable. The jewelers there also made a sale. Very handy.

The room was nice albeit dated. My only complaint is I did order ice up to my room, that never arrived. We had the feed me option at Coal Cellar and Grill restaurant, which was top notch! I highly recommend eating there.

Modern amenities and excellent location

Some people might say the hotel is dated. That is so not true. Yes, it is not brand new hotel but the room we had was renovated with modern amenities. Each room has chromecast we could connect so we didn’t miss F1 where Piastri won the race and leads the championship. The service is excellent from the moment we checked in. The location is very convenient with Chinatown and Adelaide Central Market on walking distance. Lots of cafe and restaurants around, too. Will definitely stay here again.
