Family Unfriendly

I was told if I left a review then our complaint would not be considered by the hotel, but I think it’s important for other travelers to understand that we booked this family friendly hotel for our first trip with our small baby. Our room was so dirty that two cleaners came back for two hours to clean it. Dirty sheets, hand marks on the bed head, food on the floor. There was music playing until 11pm that could be heard from the 7th floor, we said to the front desk that it wasn’t suitable for our baby as a lack of sleep can be very dangerous and could we please leave. They refused our request, ignored the calls and emails from hotels and we were stuck there. We packed up our things and decided that our baby’s health was more important than the money and after a lot of struggle our remaining nights were refunded. If you’re travelling with children I would suggest to look elsewhere.

Great hotel

We had a lovely week at the Hard Rock Hotel and thought the hotel was absolutely lovely. At check-in we were served quickly, given an upgraded room and as we had missed dinner that evening (flight delay), they sent up some charcuterie and bread to our room which was much appreciated. Breakfast is fantastic with a huge amount of options. It was surprisingly busy in January, so i'd hate to see how long the queues would be in the summer months! The dinner buffet was mostly good with lots of different options and great desserts, but we found we were left a bit underwhelmed on a few evenings. The thing that let the hotel down unfortunately was the housekeeping, which was quite hit and miss. One day we found our bin (which was full) hadn't been emptied, one day our coffee cups and glasses weren't changed (and had obviously been used) and whilst this probably isn't the housekeeper's fault but rather the hotel's policy, it's a shame they don't refresh the water in the room every day (it's only offered on arrival, 2x cans per room). The towels were also a bit shabby. Finally, we had a problem with the electric lights under our sink one evening so they were violently flashing and couldn't be switched off, but we called Reception and they sent maintenance up ASAP which was appreciated as we had a baby in the room we were trying to put to bed. Overall i would definitely stay here again and thoroughly enjoyed our near-perfect stay.

We had problems with room cleaning, one day not cleaned, next day no towels, then some towel missing. It was our 30 Anniversary and we booked in the Steak restaurant, I asked if they could make this special for my wife but nothing was done not even recognition that it was our Anniversary. A bit disappointed.

Really enjoyed our time at the hard rock, the pool and facilities were fantastic, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a couple of criticisms would be the price for food and drink, drinks are extremely expensive with cocktails being around 12-13 euros each, having a walk around the local area you will find much bars with much cheaper prices, one other criticism would be the breakfast, each time we ate the food was cold, overall had a great time and would return

We stayed 3 nights at Hard Rock hotel and absolutely enjoyed our stay.Staffs were very friendly,buffet breakfast was brilliant and we really loved the heated swimming pool. 471 bus stop is just outside the hotel which is so convenient for travelling.

Elegant and child friendly hotel in a beautiful location with plenty of good restaurants around. Rather than providing guests with a key or access card to their rooms, they give everyone a wristband that had to be worn for the whole stay. It would be great if they offered an alternative for those who get annoyed by having something at their wrist even overnight. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall: a beautiful hotel with great facilities in a remote setting with expensive extras. Great kids pool, inadequate activities for toddlers. Rooms:, large and modern. Stayed in platinum suite and plenty of space for two adults, toddler and baby with second separate toilet. Huge balcony area, but no light on the balcony. Nespresso machine available, with mini fridge and kettle in room. Good blackout curtains, decent TV, Bose speaker etc. Pools: 3 pools in use (rock royalty Eden pool under maintenance). Lagoon pool too cold in winter months for small children. Slightly more hassle to get to it. Kids pool excellent, warm, good slide and water features to keep little ones happy. Plenty of floaties and toys to borrow. “Splash pool” also heated and very pleasant. Entertainment: Kids club activities only accessible to over 4 years old (even if accompanied by a carer), even movie time. This was disappointing as little toddlers love to paint and get crafty as well! The playroom is large and well equipped with toys, but seems like they could provide some toddler friendly activities too. Evening live music was great, but the set lists were often repetitive for the support acts (until 21:30). Sport activities could be more varied during the day. Food: Breakfast and dinner buffets were decent. Plenty of varied options that changed each day. Very expensive drinks if not all inclusive. Prohibitively expensive restaurants. Limited choices in walking distance

Great hotel with fancy pool area and good music

We had a great stay and enjoyed the great room, super breakfast, fancy pool area and talented DJs. However, we think that there were too many drunk people partying in the evenings. I know Tenerife is a charter destination, but I had expected less tacky guests in this hotel.

Perfect for a family holiday, beautiful hotel and fantastic facilities for children. The all-inclusive restaurant is very good quality and lots of choice for everyone. The restaurants are all 5 star . Rooms are amazing, clean and very cool. Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
